What is an Arch Ranger?

As the Bermesiah Continent continues to suffer from the war between the humans and the forces of darkness, the Elves created a special bow made of Innadrail scales passed on from their ancestors with the hope of returning peace to the continent. Only the best archers were allowed to use the bow. These elite archers are known as Arch Rangers.

Arch Ranger's Characteristics

Arch Rangers wield a powerful giant bow with an advanced design that enables dynamic arrow attacks that fire at incredibly high speeds.

Arch Ranger Skills

General

Arch Rangers wield Great Bows, a heavier variety of the bow, but do not wield lesser dexterity.
During a Combo, Arch Ranger can end her combos in two different Melee attacks:
  • Up Combo Attack: Arch Ranger swings her bow in an upwards-slashing motion, knocking enemies into the air.
    • Air grabs are possible if you make contact with an enemy in PvP
  • Down Combo Attack: Arch Ranger jabs one of her Great Arrows in front of her, stunning enemies slightly
    • This attack jabs in whichever angle the Arch Ranger is aiming at.
The Arch Ranger is Lire's first class in which running and Air Dash is available to players.
Arch Rangers also have two different Dash Attacks, both possible on the ground and in the air.
  • The first is the basic Turn-shot, in which Lire fires an arrow behind her to knock enemies down.
  • The second is the Bow Uppercut which is very similar to her Up Combo Attack.
Arch Rangers have three different Aerial Attacks:
  • Basic Aerial Attack: Lire shoots down arrows similarly to her first class.
    • This has less of a push than Archer's arrows, so certain ottos can be difficult to pull of as Arch Ranger
  • Down Aerial Attack: Lire shoots directly downwards at enemies
    • Two possible shots can be pulled off.
    • This can be used as a pseudo-Double Jump to help Arch Rangers reach higher platforms.
  • Up Aerial Attack: A melee-based attack in which the Arch Ranger swings an arrow above her.
    • This swings one of her Great Arrows above her to damage enemies.

Arch Rangers only have a 3-hit combo, with a 4th possible hit with a Critical/Double Attack.

Regular

Hyper Shot
(Grade 1) Arch Ranger’s 1st grade attack enables the user to shoot an arrow straight toward a target: this shot will pierce through the target and damage enemies behind it. This skill is commonly used repeatedly to create an opportunity to strike enemies with a finishing blow.
  • Shoots an arrow that fires straightforward.
  • Because this is an "enhanced" Arrow, it cannot be blocked, nor reflected.
  • Does not kill the target, but can lead to grabs.
White Wind
(Grade 2) Arch Ranger’s 2nd grade attack enables the user to swing her bow to attack enemies at close range. This skill is intended to help players escape when surrounded by enemies, or as crowd control for defeating groups of enemies.
  • A Spin attack at close range.
  • User can move left or right during this form of attack, giving it slight range.
  • Recommended to use it against nearby targets.
Chakra
(Grade 3) Arch Ranger’s 3rd grade attack is an advanced version of Archer’s Arrow Rain. Enables the user to fly in the air and shoot arrows upward. These arrows will fall to the ground in a huge explosion, and unlike Arrow Rain, this skill only inflicts damage on the arrows’ way down. Chakra isn’t very effective on single enemies, but it is useful on giant boss monsters and groups of enemies because of its wide attack range. This skill can also instantly finish downed enemies that are trying to stand up or are in the middle of resurrecting. However, the character is vulnerable before and after using Chakra so this skill must be cast carefully.
  • Shoots several arrows into the sky, and rains down explosions.
  • Shots aiming to the sky do not do damage at all, unlike Arrow Rain.
  • Leaves the user vulnerable from skills after cast. On the other hand, the Raining Explosions can easily prevent this weakness.
